Ben Dake

Metastasis is the ultimate and fatal stage of breast cancer progression. Ben has developed a metastasis model to track seeding and outgrowth of human tumor cells systemically in immunocompromised mice by delivering cells intracardially. His work has examined potential roles for chromatin modifiers in metastasis, implicated endocrine messengers in colonization of the brain and adrenal glands, and provided insight into metastasis suppression by Ras associated proteins.
